Angelina Jolie is currently in DC filming that new Salt movie with that dude from the Scream movies who they thought was the killer but wasn’t. I for one have been thinking that Angie has fallen off a little lately and has been looking unhealthily skinny, but she looks pretty good in these new shots and I’m liking the blonde hair.

Once expected to star Tom Cruise, the Columbia Pictures espionage thriller Salt has been redrafted by screenwriter Kurt Wimmer as a star vehicle for Angelina Jolie.

Jolie stars as Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence. Liev Schreiber stars as Winter, Salt’s boss and friend on the Russian desk at the CIA. [Source]

The scene they shot involved Angie running around all over the place. To get her to run so much, the director would point and yell “There’s an orphan over there!”

The whispers have been out there for a while now (almost two whole years)… Just about everyone, involved with the project or not, thinks Angelina Jolie would be perfect as Ava Lord, the gorgeous femme fatale at the center of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s long-gestating Sin City 2. But would she do it?

In an interview with MTV, Jolie weighed in saying, “I don’t know. I found the first ‘Sin City’ impressive, but I don’t know what they’re going to do with the next one to make [it] as original as the first.”

But wait, that doesn’t mean the world’s most famous actress wouldn’t be interested: “I think [Frank Miller]’s a genius. I’d be curious [if offered].”

Since the production has already been hit by delay after delay, I can’t imagine they’d mind waiting for Jolie’s second pregnancy to start pre-production, but let’s hear from you guys: is Angelina A Dame to Kill Wait For? I say definitely.

Angelina Jolie’s ‘high school love’

Angelina Jolie is going through a “high school phase” by dating Brad Pitt, her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton has claimed. The actor-and-singer has mocked Angelina’s relationship with Brad, insisting his ex-wife will soon “wake up” and leave him.

Billy Bob said: “She is just going through a high school phase. You know dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She’ll be waking up from that dream in no time.” He added at the launch of his new album with The Boxmasters: “Who knows if I’ll be there when she’s ready to come to her senses though.” Billy Bob married Angelina in 2000 after they met on the movie set for ‘Pushing Tin’.
