You know, the world is pretty rough on Jessica Simpson. Kourtney Kardashian recently spoke to People and revealed two major tidbits – 1) She had contemplated aborting her new baby 2) Her real age:

“I definitely thought about it long and hard, about if I wanted to keep the baby or not, and I wasn’t thinking about adoption,” Kardashian, 30, who was shooting E!’s Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami at the time, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I do think every woman should have the right to do what they want, but I don’t think it’s talked through enough. I can’t even tell you how many people just say, ‘Oh, get an abortion.’ Like it’s not a big deal.”

After taking to E!’s marketing team –err– researching online, Kourtney decided to keep the baby:

“I looked online, and I was sitting on the bed hysterically crying, reading these stories of people who felt so guilty from having an abortion,” she recalls. “I was reading these things of how many people are traumatized by it afterwards.”
Kardashian says she did some intense soul-searching. “For me, all the reasons why I wouldn’t keep the baby were so selfish: It wasn’t like I was raped, it’s not like I’m 16. I’m 30 years old, I make my own money, I support myself, I can afford to have a baby. And I am with someone who I love, and have been with for a long time.”

While publicly admitting you contemplated aborting your child might not be the smartest idea, it’s obvious what Kourtney’s trying to do here: Downplay any suspicions about not wanting a baby so no one blames her when Khloe’s asked to babysit and ends up eating it. Always thinking ahead, those Kardashians. On a side note, am I the only one who thought she was like 24 or something?

Add dance practice to the list of things that Heidi Montag can’t do right. Here are pictures of Heidi practicing for the Miss Universe pageant, but it wasn’t a completely smooth ride…

She’s scheduled to perform at the Miss Universe Pageant at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas Sunday night, but an insider told Page Six, “They’re a complete nightmare. Heidi has missed many rehearsals” while “Spencer Pratt tried to demand that the hotel pay him to lay by the pool” after he and Heidi were comped on the cabanas. “The Atlantis laughed in his face,” our snitch reports. They should have told Spencer they would have paid him to drown in the pool, because you know he’d do it if there were a few cameras around.
